About Laura
Laura West is the owner of Pivotal Hypnosis Training and HypnosisMaryland. She is
a practicing Hypnotist, hypnosis instructor and HypnoCoach™.
Laura became interested in hypnosis while going through hypnotherapy herself, to overcome habits that she was not wishing to continue. In 1998 she overcame a 25 year habit of smoking through hypnosis. These sessions were so powerful and enlightening, she was able to overcome her habit with ease. She was surprised at the things she became aware of during these sessions and realized that with this type of therapy there were no boundaries to overcome any obstacle is possible in this life.
She has a Masters Certificate in Hypnosis and has been certified as a hypnosis instructor by the Self-Empowerment Education Center.
Laura has been training others in the field of hypnosis since 2001, helping her students to find a new career or compliment what they are currently doing.
She is an active member of National Association of Transpersonal Hypnosis and the
International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. In 2005, she was approved
as a school by the IMDHA.
Along with her growing clientele, she can also be found
doing seminars on hypnosis, self-hypnosis, past lives, and guided meditation.
